Caring Ministry
Our Caring Ministry Team is made up of volunteers who work in collaboration with our ministers. We’re a fun and caring group of men and women of all ages who meet on Zoom the fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 pm.
An important goal is to encourage and support those individuals in our congregation who are going through difficult times, including a family crisis, loneliness, increased family demands (ex: birth of a baby), and health problems. We actively reach out to members of our congregation through phone calls, visits, prayers, emails and cards. We provide meals on a short time basis when needed. We help the ministers plan and provide memorial receptions and other special events. We also send cards and Christmas poinsettias in recognition and appreciation of people who serve our church. We can arrange transportation to church or appointments. We gratefully accept one time or occasional help from people who aren’t formal members of this group.
Please let us know if you could use our support or if you’re interested in participating with us (either as a member or occasional helper).
For short-term help with meals and for prayers offered by this group, please contact: Pam Mclease at pammcleese@gmail.com
